I am honoured to be the SO for the United Kingdom and instruct LaStone Therapy.
When I took my first LaStone course, for me it was like the final piece of the puzzle had fallen into place, and I realised what had led me to do my other training had been to work with the Stones.
After many years in Advertising I was drawn to taking an Aromatherapy Qualification in 1994.This lead onto subsequently professional qualifications in : Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, Hopi EarCandle and Reiki.
After reading about Stone Massage in many publications I took a one day course which only taught me how much I didn`t know! I then researched and found LaStone in 2001 - still a very new company in the UK back then.
When I did my training with Jane Scrivner it was a revelation and as I said above it was that final piece slotting into the the puzzle of my journey.
I put in my "Cosmic Order" to be able to instruct this amazing therapy - the same as about 50% of all those who come on a course do! I then went onto do Ardell`s Stone Sole and realised this could be my entry into obtaining my dream. After a couple of years I was able to obtain the rights to teach Stone Sole in the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand and my LaStone instructors journey had truly begun.
At the end of 2007 when Jane and Debbie left to pursue there own Stone Journey I was honoured to be able to take over the UK Satellite Office, and with Anna Spaul we have created an amazing community of LaStone Therapists.
Introducing new courses, encouraging therapists to update and refresh their skills and being able to host Mary Nelson and Jenny Ray has seen LaStone UK grow in strength and has lead us to this year being able to take on four new instructors.
This is only the beginning for LaStone UK - watch this space...................
