I have been blessed in becoming a LMT, #7012, actively practicing massage therapy since 2002. I am currently employed at the ANARA Spa, on the beautiful island of Kaua`i.
Kaua`i is a very healing and spiritual place to live. We have some of the most spectacular views imaginable. The energy of Kaua`i is one of definite power. You can feel her heart beating with each passing warm breeze. The beauty of the land, the love, and the joys of simple life is an excellent place to learn LaStone Therapy. I am gifted to offer Lomi Lomi and Thai massage as other modalities I enjoy practicing.
My passion for stones has roots as far back as I can remember. Upon graduating from massage school I immediately wanted to learn the modality of hot stone therapy. A two day course from another "expression" changed my life and added fuel to my burning passion. As my passion for stones deepened I purchased the LaStone Therapy book. I was so engulfed in the brilliance of its theory I finished it in a mere two hours. Immediately I contacted founder Mary Nelson to inquire about becoming an instructor. I hadn`t even taken an Original Body Course but I had faith and let my passion lead the way. By 2006 doors of opportunity opened, and in October of that same year, my path unraveled before me. Within two years my journey was complete, it was a life changing experience I will cherish forever. I stand here today, proud and extremely honored to be an Original Body Instructor for the State of Hawaii. I have earned certification to teach Simply Stones, Simply Stones Extended, and Beyond Hot Stones.
I am thrilled to be able to offer LaStone Therapy to both my clients at the spa and within my private practice. My desire is for the world to know the energy, the connection, the dance, and the power of the stones. I aspire to instill the same love and passion for stones that I have, in my students. For it is passion that grows the mind and warms the heart. It is the yearn for complete understanding of the stones that keeps wanting more.
