My Stone work began in 1997. Mary came to me needing suggestions on aesthetic work. The next thing I knew, she had decided that I was to learn LaStone Original Body, and from that create a class specific to skin care specialists. I spent many hours with Mary Nelson and Tonya Bucinell in Tucson, AZ learning the art of stone massage. Mary and I presented the first Stone Facial for the Soul course at the International Dermal Institute in Los Angeles in 1998. The class and I have evolved greatly in the past eight years and if you ask anyone who knows me, we are still taking shape. I am deeply grateful for this gift of Mother Earth. The stones have allowed my spirit to soar and my mind to expand. I thank all the people who have assisted me in this endeavor and all those who are still waiting to share.
